The Story of St. Patrick, by Cheryl Odden

If you have children or nieces and nephews, one of the best ways you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is by sharing his story. Later this year, The Voice of the Martyrs will be releasing The Story of St. Patrick: More Than Shamrocks and Leprechauns. The story will inspire children to stand for Christ and obey His voice even when their faith is challenged.

Of the three primary saints we have come to know through holiday celebrations -- St. Nicholas, St. Valentine and St. Patrick -- Patrick is the only one to have left behind an autobiography. However, all are noted to have suffered for Christ.
