The OWU Library is located in the historic La Quinta Mansion. Study areas, computer labs and book stacks have been creatively arranged to provide a comfortable study and research center for the campus. OWU Library Catalog on LibraryNet -- Search for books
NetLibrary -- eBooks are available
eBooks are electronic versions of printed books that can be viewed online on any personal computer connected to the Internet. Browse the eBooks for quick research and reference information. Click on “Create a Free Account” to get a username and password.
NOTE: Accounts must be set up in the on campus. Off campus students should email elib@okwu.edu and request a library staff member to set up an account.

OWU Library Periodical & Research Databases
Database use on campus does not require a username and password. Current students, faculty, and staff may contact the library for off-campus access information or if you need assistance using the databases.
- EBSCOhost provides several databases with thousands of full text periodical articles and citations for articles available through the OWU library.
- Thomson/Gale Infotrac includes two databases: the Health and Wellness Resource Center database contains many full text nursing-related resources. The Literary Resource Center contains biographical resources and literary criticism on authors of many disciplines and time periods.
- FirstSearch includes several large databases that index periodicals and other materials in specialized areas.
- CPI Online (Christian Periodical Index) indexes over 100 publications from a broad spectrum of knowledge including science, literature, medicine, music, philosophy, history, sociology, nursing, and education.
- SIRS Knowledge Source provides access to selected full text articles from over 1500 periodicals and Internet resources.
- CQ Researcher is a comprehensive database providing full text information on current news topics.
- Newsbank includes citations and full text articles from over 500 international and national newspapers, wire services, and broadcasts since 1991.
- Mergent Online is a powerful business database with national and international company data, archives, annual reports, fact sheets, and a great deal more relevant information available in full text.
